Rivers State University Gets New Vice Chancellor

A new Vice Chancellor has been appointed to oversee the affairs of Rivers State University(RSU) for the next five years.
The Secretary to Rivers State Government, Tammy Wenike Danagogo, disclosed on Thursday, March 6th, 2025, that Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, has approved the appointment of Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi as the new Vice Chancellor of the Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt.
Mr Danagogo stated that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Recall that Professor Nlerum Okogbule, the immediate past Vice Chancellor of RSU, bowed out after his tenure expired last Tuesday.
