The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) has commenced a nationwide tour aimed at promoting the ease of doing business across the country.
The tour, which includes technical sessions and town hall meetings in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, is designed to localize and deepen the understanding of business-friendly reforms and encourage stakeholder engagement.
In a statement issued over the weekend, PEBEC announced that the tour would begin on June 23, 2025, and run through mid-July, engaging with state governments, businesses, and the general public.
“The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) is pleased to announce its nationwide tour, starting on June 23, 2025, to drive the ease of doing business reforms across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The tour will feature technical sessions and town hall meetings, providing a platform for stakeholders to engage with government officials, share experiences, and propose reforms to ease business operations,” the statement read.

PEBEC noted that the overall goal is to foster a more conducive business climate capable of attracting investment and driving sustainable economic growth across Nigeria.
The council said the tour will also serve as a platform for businesses, investors, and the public to voice their concerns, discuss regulatory challenges, and propose practical solutions to improve the business environment.
