Edo State Govt Graduates 60 Personnel, Pledges More to Boost Security

‎As part of the Edo State Government’s commitment to providing security of lives and property in the State, the Edo State Security Corps has concluded the training of 60 security personnel, who are to pilot the Security Administrative Departments at the Headquarters in Benin City.

‎The State Deputy Corps Commandant, CSP Richard Balogun (rtd.) while briefing the 60 security personnel, disclosed the Organisation’s readiness to strengthen security in the State by recruiting and training more able men and women to help curb crimes and other social vices in order to foster peace, security, investments and economic growth.

‎CSP Balogun (rtd.) stated that the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration is committed to ensuring security for residents in the State, admonishing the recruits to collaborate with other security agencies in fighting crimes, while adding that effective crime fighting could be achieved through team work, tactics, intelligence and bravery.

‎The State Deputy Corps Commandant reminded the recruits on the code of conduct which included punctuality, selfless service, discipline, respect for constituted authorities and seniors, as well as the avoidance of gossips, absenteeism, amongst others.
