The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has informed the public about the return of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise in the State.
Okpebholo stated that this plan, targeted at protecting the environment, which will take place on the last Saturday of each month from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, starting on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
To show his interest towards creating a healthier and cleaner environment for the people of Edo State, the governor emphasized that this exercise will significantly enhance the state’s sanitation levels.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, it was mentioned that during the exercise, both people and vehicles are not to be sighted on the roads, except for those on essential duties. This measure aims at ensuring that all individuals participate in the sanitation effort to keep their environment clean.
