ADC Committed to Winning Akwa Ibom in 2027 – Nwosu

The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralph Nwosu, has charged the new Akwa Ibom State Executive Council to uphold the party’s ideals to ensure victory in the 2027 general elections.
He made this statement during the inauguration of the Akwa Ibom executive council in Uyo on Tuesday.
Nwosu emphasized that the party is strategizing ahead of the next general elections by electing officers to run the party’s affairs in the state.
He noted that ADC is a grassroots party that should have a presence in all local governments to bring democracy closer to the people.
“I urge the Executive Council and all members to keep the party’s flag flying. We must equip ourselves and prepare for the 2027 general elections. Women’s participation in the party must be ensured as we plan for the next general elections. Women’s membership and active involvement should be prioritized,” he said.
Nwosu commended the state party for completing the state office, which will facilitate the administration of the party in the state.
In his inaugural speech, State Chairman Mr. Duke Dick thanked the national chairman for his presence at the ceremony.
Dick praised the national chairman for elevating the party to national recognition and assured that he would ensure the party’s presence in all 31 local government areas of the state.
The state women leader, Ms. Julie Esa, spoke on behalf of the women, reiterating their commitment to mobilize women across the state in preparation for the next general elections.
The event’s highlight was the inauguration of the state executive council, which includes: Mr. Duke Dick – State Chairman, Mr. Ibanga Idongesit – State Secretary, Mr. Stanley Akpan, Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District, Mr. Imo Frank Essiet – Akwa Ibom North West, and Mr. Mfon Archibong – Akwa Ibom North East
