Bob Izua CEO Lauds Edo 2025 Appropriation Bill
Urges residents to focus on the Governor’s development agenda

An elder statesman and businessman in Edo State, Chief (Dr) Osamende Adun J.P. has commended the Governor for establishing the right template for the state’s development through his practical, on-the-ground, and personal inspection of different sectors that need urgent interventions.
He noted that the governor’s actions have so far shown a clear difference from the administration of his predecessor, which left many issues to chance and people without accountability. He applauded the Edo state governor for executing policies that would move the state forward, noting that projects executed should be supervised to prove accountability and readiness to work.
Chief Adun, also known as Bob-Izua, has charged the Edo State governor with remaining focused and determined to deliver his mandate.
Addressing journalists in Benin City, the Benin Chief noted and acknowledged the proposed budget and urged the citizens of Edo state to exercise patience and forge ahead with hopes of a better administration of the present government.
He urged the governor to ignore those who have chosen to dwell on the manner of his 2025 Appropriation Bill presentation rather than consider its commendable contents.
“The people of Edo State should support the governor and allow him to carry out his responsibilities rather than complaining. People can make mistakes, and they can be revised. Well-meaning and well-intentioned residents should fully support the governor’s practical approach to governance and his statement of intentions for the 2025 financial year, as captured in the budget. He is here to work for us, not to eat our money.”
He explained how the South African president also made a similar mistake but retraced his steps.
The chief charged that the people of Edo state should examine the budget’s contents for better understanding.
He further reminded the people that the present administration had begun fixing the bad roads in the state barely two days after he was sworn in as governor of Edo state.
