There was pandemonium on Thursday, 22nd May, 2025, as intra-fighting reportedly broke out between suspected Deygbam cult groups who engaged in a supremacy battle.
Our source disclosed that the fighting, which has been going on for days, started from the Sagana axis of Mile 1 Diobu at about 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and moved to the popular Education Bus stop along Ikwerre road in the Mile 1 Diobu axis.
Sources say suspected cultists were chasing each other while gunshots rent the air as traders, commuters, and passersby scampered for safety.
We gathered that the rampaging suspected cultists were later dislodged by a combined team of Police led by the Mile 1 Police Division
