NESREA To Unveil More Efficent Clearance System
The Director General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), Dr. Innocent Barikor, has said the agency will soon unveil a more robust and efficient system to improve its import clearance regime, with an eye towards full integration with the National Single Window Project.
Barikor indicated when he received the Project Manager of the National Single Window Project, Dr. Tola Fakolade and his team at the headquarters of NESREA in Abuja.
He said the agency has aggressively scaled up its system to a dynamic model that would enhance its productivity and interface with other relevant systems, such as the National Single Window Project and the B’Odogwu platform of the Nigerian Customs Service.
The NESREA DG commended the efforts by Dr. Fakolade and his team towards promoting unified platform for trade facilitation, while restating NESREA’s support for the process.
Fakolade said the visit was part of engagement towards the on boarding of the agency into the Single Windows Platform.
