Pregnant Woman Delivers in Kidnappers Den, Baby Seized

Suspected Kidnappers who abducted pregnant mother, Mrs Dorathy Opus, around old Port Harcourt township in Rivers State last week Friday, February 7, 2025, released and dumped her at about 7 pm yesterday,12th February 2025, at De Young roundabout Elelewon road in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
A statement by her relative, Doris Tam on Facebook indicates that the suspected kidnappers forcefully delivered the baby and took the baby away from Mrs Opus before they freed her.
As of press time, the kidnapped survivor is presently receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt.
Recalled that the family had declared her missing after she went out on Friday 7th, February and never came back. Until her release, she was last seen at UPE junction, waiting to board a vehicle.
The Rivers State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
