Senior Advocate, Sule, Hails NBA Lagos First Female Chairperson

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr Usman Sule (SAN), has congratulated Mrs Uchenna Ogunedo Akingbade on her emergence as the first female Chairperson of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch.

In a congratulatory message, Sule expressed joy and pride over the successful elections and the emergence of new executives for the branch. He described Akingbade’s victory as a reflection of the trust and confidence reposed in her by members of the association.

Sule said he had no doubt that Akingbade would bring her dedication, vision, and strength of character to bear in leading the branch effectively. He extended his best wishes to her for a successful and impactful tenure.

He noted that while the legal profession faces several challenges and opportunities, he was confident that her leadership would promote justice, professional excellence, and unity within the branch.

Sule also congratulated the newly elected Executive Committee members and commended all stakeholders for conducting peaceful and transparent elections. He urged members to work collectively towards building a vibrant and inclusive NBA Lagos Branch.

He concluded by congratulating the entire branch on what he described as the beginning of a new chapter.
