The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated its State Secretary, Engr. Lawrence Okah, on his appointment as a member of the National Salary and Wages Commission by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Barr. Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie, the APC described the appointment as a recognition of Okah’s competence, integrity and commitment to public service, as well as President Tinubu’s confidence in his ability to contribute to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The party said Okah had distinguished himself as an engineer, administrator and party leader, noting that his contributions to the growth and electoral successes of the APC in Edo State had earned him the respect of party members and stakeholders. It expressed confidence that he would bring diligence, professionalism and patriotism to his new national assignment.
The APC also commended President Tinubu for what it described as his purposeful and inclusive leadership, saying the appointment reflected the administration’s commitment to rewarding merit, loyalty and competence while strengthening national institutions.
It added that the inclusion of Okah in the latest round of federal appointments underscored the President’s recognition of the quality of human resources available in Edo State.
The party reaffirmed its loyalty and support for the Tinubu administration and congratulated Okah on the appointment, praying for wisdom, strength and good health as he assumes his new responsibility.
