The Edo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has congratulated the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his 56th birthday.
The State Commandant of the Corps, Commandant Akintayo Saheed Ayinla, conveyed the congratulatory message on behalf of the officers and men of the Command, describing the governor’s birthday as an opportunity to acknowledge his commitment to the peace, security and development of the state.
In a statement, Ayinla said the NSCDC Command was joining the people of Edo State to celebrate the governor and wished him good health, long life, wisdom and strength to enable him discharge his responsibilities effectively.
The Commandant also prayed for continued divine protection for the governor and his family, as well as wisdom and sound judgment in providing what he described as purposeful and people-oriented leadership.
According to him, the Corps is hopeful that the state will continue to record progress in the areas of security, sustainable development, economic growth and prosperity under the present administration.
He expressed confidence that the governor’s vision and determination would contribute to efforts aimed at building a safer, peaceful and prosperous Edo State.
Ayinla further wished Governor Okpebholo greater accomplishments and fulfilment in the years ahead, praying that his administration would continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the people of Edo State.
He concluded by congratulating the governor on his 56th birthday and wishing him continued success in office.
“Happy 56th Birthday, Your Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo,” the Commandant said, while extending prayers for the progress of Edo State and Nigeria.
