Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Engineer Kelvin Aigbe as Special Adviser to the Governor on Security.
The appointment was contained in a Government Special Announcement dated August 10, 2026, and signed by the Secretary to the Edo State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq.
According to the statement, Aigbe is an entrepreneur with a strong commitment to excellence, humanitarian service and community development.
It added that he has also been actively involved in politics and has demonstrated commitment to public service, grassroots development, as well as political and community leadership.
The appointment takes immediate effect.
